High School of America gives financial and academic credit for high school transfer credits. We accept full and half credits, which means you can transfer a partial year of high school. The maximum is 17 credits @ $60 each, for a total possible tuition savings of $1020. To receive transfer credits, you must submit an official transcript from an accredited institution or homeschool portfolio for evaluation. Prompt receipt of student transcripts allows us to finalize your program in a timely manner.
To transfer credits from another high school, send a High School Transcript Request Form to your school or board of education to ensure your official transcript is submitted in a timely manner. Your school must fax or mail the transcript to us at the following address:

If you are homeschooled, please submit a complete portfolio of your work and/or proper documentation. You must include the Home School Form with your portfolio. We offer testing for students who cannot provide a homeschool portfolio. NOTE: Passing the test will allow you to continue your high school education at HSOA, but you will not receive credit toward your diploma for passing the test.
